Beermas 2021-2022 Day 1 – Westmalle Trappist Tripel

Alc 9.5% / vol.  Pours light in colour with a couple of thumbs worth of head on it. Watch the pour, it can get out of hand.  Checking the aroma, I’m catching bubblegum and the spicey belgian yeast.  Tastes fairly boozy, not always obvious in some trippels but it is here.  Sweet with a bit of spice, this one is quite nice and is sure to warm you up in the winter.  It’s not the best one I’ve tried in the style but it’s nice and I would have it again.
