Beermas 2021-2022 Day 11 – Red Racer Boston Cream Ale

Today’s beer is from Central City Brewing in Surrey, BC, Canada.  Red Racer Boston Cream Ale came in a 12 pack of donut inspired beers.  I had a few and reviewed one in this 12 days of beermas cycle.  The beer pours like a nut brown.  As I’m pouring it I can actually smell that it does indeed bare a resemblance to a boston cream donut.  Tasting it, the beer has a silky mouthfeel with mild carbonation.  It is just sweet enough and I think they nailed it going with a english brown (making a guess) as a base beer.  I think if you had a boston cream donut to eat with it it would be super complimentary.  This is really quite nice.  I like it and recommend you try it; especially with a donut. 🙂
